#10 -
Any call of "out",
"let", or "fault" must be made
instantaneously; otherwise, the ball is presumed good and
still in play. In this connotation "instantaneously"
means that the call is made before either an opponent has hit
the return or the return has gone out of play. Most important:
a ball is not out until it is called out. | | |

SENIOR LEAGUE TENNIS It's
almost that time again for league season to begin.
The 2006 season will start in mid January and end in
May. Anyone born in 1956 or earlier is eligible to play.
Seniors play three courts of doubles (no singles).
I am currently working on forming some new teams -
especially 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 women.
If any of you, men or women, is interested in playing on
a team, please call or e-mail me at 452-7122 or phillip.d.woodard@pmusa.com.
